Many years ago, when my children were small, we were in Luxemburg for a holiday. Knowing the ‘Changing of the Guard’ ceremony at Buckingham Palace in London, we thought we would take the children along to watch. At the allotted time, one bored conscript, in a plain uniform marched up (not terribly smartly) and replaced that other. That was it. Still a favourite family memory, though! (BR)
