eMarketer said that it expects Roku monthly users in the US to reach 111.7 million this year, an increase by 11.5% and making up a third of the US population. Amazon will grow faster, by 15.4% to reach 97.0 million US monthly users. The firm believes that Roku reaches 51.7% of connected TV users, with Amazon at nearly 45% and Apple TV at just 13.1% of users.
The forecast is that Roku will hit 126.4 million users in 2025 ahead of Amazon Fire at 118.6 million.
