Authorities in South Korea have indicted several Korean and Chinese researchers, as well as a professor at a Korean research institute, accused of being involved in the sale of confidential information regarding Samsung Display’s OLED technology to an undisclosed company in China.
The case involves over 5,000 of Samsung’s classified files, which the officials were allegedly offered a sum of $180,000 to pass on to China.
