Images have surfaced on Twitter of a Samsung VR headset displaying the Windows Mixed Reality symbol.
Infamous technological whistle-blower @WalkingCat leaked the images out into the wild earlier this week, but elected not to comment further.
An image of the rumoured Samsung Windows Mixed Reality headset was leaked to Twitter.
We know that Acer, Asus, Dell, HP and Lenovo are preparing Windows Mixed Reality headsets for release at the moment, but Samsung’s name hadn’t been mentioned until now. (IFA 2017 Round Up)
The images show integrated audio from AKG, a Samsung-owned company, similar to the Oculus Rift. Previous mixed reality headsets have required an auxiliary input for sound.
No other information is currently known. There are several Windows Mixed Reality headsets planned for release during the 2017 holiday season.
