Remers Leaves Christie After 16 Years

Gerry Remers, president and COO of Christie Canada, has announced that he will step down from his current role on the 8th July. Remers will continue to assist Jack Kline, Christie’s chairman, president and CEO, for an undetermined period.

Remers joined Christie in 1999, and before that spent five years as president of Electrohome Projection Systems – a forerunner of the Christie group.

Ihor Stech will replace Remers as COO of Christie Canada. Stech is currently VP of operations at the firm, which includes responsibility for global operations – including manufacturing, purchasing and after-sales service. He has been with Christie for 16 years.
