The Swedish startup company Rdot Displays has developed a novel reflective display technology that is manufactured with conventional printing processes (Display Week iZone Highlights). We reported on the company after we saw its displays in the i-Zone at SID Display week. Now the company is making a development kit for potential users.
The features include ultra-low-power consumption, 100-200 µm thickness, bendability, and low-cost thanks to the efficient printing processes.
