Qualcomm to Sell All of Its 10-Nano APs to Samsung?

ETNews has reported that Qualcomm has committed to supply all of its 10 nanometre production of its next Snapdragon 830 application processor to Samsung for the next (S8?) Galaxy smartphone. The paper reports that the company did a similar deal for the 14 nanometre Snapdragon 820 chips for the Galaxy S7. It expects the Qualcomm processors to be used in half of the production of S8. Chinese brands such as Xiaomi and ZTE are developing their own APs and Huawei owns HiSilicon. LG is also developing its own AP so Qualcomm needs to hang onto business from Samsung, according to analysts.
