Taiwanese OEM Qisda has raised its monitor and projector shipments by 20% and 40% YoY in Q1-Q3’14, according to company president Peter Chen. The results put shipments at 11.8 million and 1.2 million, respectively over the first three quarters.
LCD monitor production has re-balanced to models with specific uses, such as gaming, graphics and medical. With a reduction in TV production, monitors now represent just under 60% of Qisda’s overall shipments (projecters are between 15% and 20%).
