Huawei has been in the news a lot and was at the show with a big video wall showing its systems technology.
We saw this interesting application. It’s good to get travellers to use devices to steer them around airports, but it can be a challenge to get them to install and configure apps. The idea of the trolley below is that it is fitted with a tablet. The trolley is kept ‘airside’ (after security). The traveller simply scans their boarding pass on the tablet which then can direct them to the gate and give messages while providing a convenient way of carrying hand baggage and purchases. The trolley can be set up to find the location very accurately.

There were lots of entry gates and kiosks with integrated displays, but little that really stood out for us.
