The U3477PQU (Display Monitor Vol 21 No 30), from Acer, will be available in the USA from the 8th December. It will cost $900. The B326HK UltraHD monitor (Display Monitor Vol 21 No 44) has also been launched in the region.

In other Acer news, the XB280HK 28″ UltraHD monitor with G-Sync is now available in the UK. The monitor costs £450 ($705).

Hisense’s Laser Cinema TV (an ultra-short-throw projector that we saw at IFA, in Display Monitor Vol 21 No 36) will be introduced in the second half of 2015, priced at around $20,000. Terry Wang, head of Hisense Middle East, shared the news.

The Loewe Connect TV series (Display Monitor Vol 21 No 36) will shortly go on sale. The 40″ and 55″ units will be available in December, while the 48″ model will be launched in 2015. They will £1,000 ($1,570), £2,000 ($3,140) and £2,335 ($3,665) respectively.

MMD has announced a new version of the Philips USB docking display. The 23″ monitor is now available with an IPS panel (231P4QUPES), providing 1920 x 1080 resolution and 178 deg viewing angles. The monitor is available now for £200 ($315).

A price has been set for Sony’s BVM-X300 professional OLED monitor (Display Monitor Vol 21 No 38). Set to be released in February, the display is now listed on Sony’s Japanese website for ¥3.6 million ($30,500).
