Planar has announced a new series, the CarbonLight VX series, that is optimised for virtual production. It features 1.9mm and 2.6mm pitch and there are models with Brompton controllers. The colour performance is up to DCI-P3 for the Planar CarbonLight CLI VX1.9 model. The LED refresh rate is 3840Hz and frame rates from 24Hz to 144Hz are supported to match different needs. The LEDs use common cathode technology and have carbon fibre frames. It can be configured in curved or with right angled corners.
There is also flooring available with a 2.6mm pitch.
