Sri Peruvemba, already a member of the board of Quantum Materials Corp., will take also on the role of CEO as of the 30th June. QMC founder and current CEO Steve Squires will remain with the company, but will focus more of his effort on subsidiary Solterra, which develops solar cells. Squires will maintain his role as CEO of QMC Asia (a joint venture with Guanghui Technology Group).
Peruvemba has been in the display industry for 25 years. He currently serves on the board of the SID and as CE of Marketer International. Previously he was CMO of E Ink, and has held senior positions at Sharp, TFS, Planar Systems and Suntronic Technology.
Analyst Comment
I don’t know where Peruvemba finds the time and energy! He is helping start-ups, ClearInk and Quirk Logic and has also had a very positive impact on the SID’s marketing activities for Display Week. (BR)
