New BOE Fab to be Supplied by Air Liquide

French industrial gases producer Air Liquide has won a ‘major’ contract with BOE. Under the terms, Air Liquide will provide gas to BOE’s new G8.5 FPD fab in Chonqing, China. The factory will be commissioned in the first half of next year, producing displays for laptops, tablet and monitors, using technologies such as Oxide-TFT.
