LCoS to be Worth $1.5 Billion in Four Years
A report posted on Marketsandmarkets (http://tinyurl.com/me9o26v) claims that the global LCoS market will be worth $1.5 billion by 2018. LCoS is currently growing at a 30.2% CAGR, and is mostly used in head-mounted and head-up displays, as well as projectors. Pico projectors are the fastest-growing products using the technology.

NEG to Build LCD Glass Plant in Xiamen
Nippon Electric Glass (NEG) is to construct an LCD substrate glass manufacturing facility in China’s Xiamen Torch High-Tech Zone. The new plant will be located next to a plant operated by AU Optronics and will cost approximately $675 million.
