Sky PLC has reported its half yearly results, posting a net profit of £1 billion ($1.5 billion) on turnover of £4.3 billion ($6.5 billion), which compares with a net profit in the first six months of last year of £411 million ($625.2 million) on turnover of £3.7 billion ($5.6 billion).
Michael Tsai, VP of AUO’s display business group, has said that the company is aiming to hold a 30% share of curved UltraHD TV panel shipments worldwide this year. The majority of AUO’s shipments will be 50″, 55″ and 65″ units.
Asustek said it managed to achieve revenue growth in 2014 and is optimistic about its performance this year, despite tough competition in mobile devices.
