FlexEnable has entered into a partnership with CPT, to drive the penetration of ‘truly flexible’ AMOLED displays. Working together, CPT and FlexEnable have manufactured a glass-free, full-colour AMOLED display. Automotive Demand Pushes KOE to Raise Production

Qualcomm Signs Agreement With Allwinner

Qualcomm has entered into an agreement with China’s Allwinner Technology, to extend the use of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processors in the Chinese connected tablet segment. Allwinner will offer system solution services to OEMs and ODMs creating 4G tablets powered by Snapdragon 410 and 210 processors.

NICT Demonstrates 200″ AS3D Display

Japan’s National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT) has undertaken a research project to develop ‘novel’ glasses-free 3D display systems. One of these systems was a 200″ display using super-multi view 3D video technologies and an electronic holography system utilising laser light.
