SES reported its half year results, with profits up 13.9% to €340 million on revenue which rose 6.4% to €999.1 million. The company said that international business now brought in 30% of its turnover. It has also increased the number of HD TV channels to 2,069, up 14%, and signed five commercial Ultra HD agreements.

Set-top box maker Pace plc issued its interim six monthly results, with net profit up 54% to $85.4 million, from $55.4 million in the year ago period, on turnover of $1.08 billion, down from $1.14 billion. The company said that the merger with Arris should be completed in Q4 2015.
