Local sources say that Huawei is likely to beat Xiaomi in the smartphone market as the company is expected to ship over 100 million handsets this year (with 75.6 million shipped by the end of Q3), while Xiaomi is reported to have dropped its target to 80 million for the year.
Digitimes Research said that it is forecasting global tablet shipments at 58.7 million for Q4, 15.9% up sequentially, but 22.6% down from last year.
