SlingTV said that it is now supporting Google’s Chromecast as well as Android and iOS. New buyers of the service will get a free Chromecast dongle, or a free trial of “Best of Live TV” package. The company said that support for the Chromecast app on Windows and Mac PCs will come later.
SkyPerfect of Japan is to transmit UltraHD videos with HDR at the Inter BEE exhibition in Japan. The signals will carry a signal that supports the BBC/NHK Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG) technology which has been standardised by The Association of Radio Industries and Businesses.
