BLU Shipments Fall at Coretronic
Coretronic has said that it shipped 5.6 million backlight units (BLUs) in October: an 11% MoM fall. From January to October, the company shipped 61.6 million units, a 21% fall. Xiaomi and LGD in OLED Discussions
Korea’s MT News claims that LG Display is about to finalise talks with Xiaomi, to supply the Chinese company with OLED displays. LGD will begin to supply displays in Q2’16, says the source. It is part of a move by LGD to become less reliant on LG Electronics for orders.
