Also has signed three new deals in Switzerland. The distributor will now handle Pocketbook eReaders; tablets and mini PCs from Trekstor; and home automation products from Fibaro.
The OLED Association (OLED-A) has released its data for 2015, and some interesting projections for the year ahead. 2015 was a ‘great year’ for OLED displays, with shipments rising 53% YoY, to almost 275 million. The installed base of HDMI products is now approaching 5 billion worldwide, says HDMI Licensing. The 1,700 HDMI Adopters that are members of the group are expected to ship more than 750 million HDMI-compliant products this year, and almost 60% have licensed v2.0a of the specification.
