Panasonic, for the first time, will be an Official Ceremony Partner of the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The company will provide more than 100 of its PT-DZ21K2 projectors, multiple broadcast-grade AV-HS6000 series switchers and other visual equipment to the opening and closing ceremonies.

BlackBerry confirmed to CNet at this year’s CES that Blackberry’s own OS has come to an end and that all new products will run Android. The BlackBerry OS will still be supplied on existing products. The firm plan to promotes the Priv (which supports Android) to more US carriers and in additional countries this year.
Sources in the handset supply chain say that Huawei expects to ship 120 million smartphones this year, up from 108 million last year and 75 million in 2014. The company believes that its business will be boosted by its presence in Europe and emerging markets.
