AGC to Expand its Supply System

Asahi Glass (AGC) has announced that it intends to strengthen its system to supply cover glass for car-mounted displays at its subsidiary AGC Display Glass Yonezawa Co., citing strong demand. Acer reported Q4 net profit of NT$237 million ($7.2 million). Turnover was NT$68.38 billion ($2.07 billion). For the full year 2015, net profit was NT$604 million ($18.3 million) on turnover of NT$263.78 billion ($7.98 billion), down 20% YoY. Higher sales of the ‘Predator’ gaming brand helped improve the company’s position in the LCD display market.
