Smartphone Orchestra Plays Music Through Thousands of Phones

The Lowlands music festival in the Netherlands hosted the first edition of the Smartphone Orchestra this month. Attendees used their phones to collectively play a single piece of music, composed ahead of time for the occasion. Each user visited a website (smartmob.io), which tied their phone into the piece.

ADI installed a new stadium screen in the UK at Norwich FC’s home, Carrow Road. Manufactured and designed by ADI, the new Epoch 400 has a 10mm pixel pitch. It is 45m². The screen can transform between portrait and landscape formats, making it a first of its kind in the football (soccer) world.
