IT Spending in India will Reach $72.4 Billion in 2017
Gartner has said that the outlook for IT spending in India is up and is expected to reach $72.4 billion in 2017. Devices are forecast to grow from $19.75 billion (and 9.5% down on 2015) to $21.4 billion in 2017. IT services will see the largest growth at 13.5%.
MediaTek is Top Chip Company for Growth
IC Insights reported that five of the top twenty chip suppliers will show growth in 2016, with Nvidia and MediaTek top at 35% and 29% respectively. MediaTek’s growth is the result of its strong sales to Chinese mobile phone makers such as Oppo and Vivo. Apple will see 17%, Toshiba 16% and TSMC 11% growth. … Read more
