According to OTT video optimisation company Conviva, the challenges to building a sustainable OTT service are rising. It is no longer enough to simply have a video play – the demand for quality is also rising. Encouragingly, Conviva’s Viewer Experience report has found that picture fidelity is rising (up 30% in 2014), with a corresponding climb in time spent watching content.
