Visitors to the Colosseum Cinema in Oslo recently enjoyed a projection-mapping light show. Optoma projectors were used to display images on the building’s 32 x 45-metre dome ceiling.
Projection software firm Vioso blended imagery from sixteen Optoma ZU850 8,200-lumen laser projectors, installed around the base of the dome, to project one seamless image. The content was synchronised with the theatre’s main auditorium projector, allowing the imagery to move from the cinema’s 22-metre projection screen up into the ceiling area.
You can watch the technology in action in this video from Optoma’s YouTube channel.
