Optoma’s new DLP business projector, the DH1008, provides smooth frame rates and “loud” audio for office environments.
Featuring dual MHL-HDMI inputs, the DH1008 can switch sources with the press of a button. Connecting a smartphone or tablet can turn the projector into a smart model, as well. 144Hz and 3D playback are supported. Despite the compact dimensions (315 x 224 x 114mm), the product features a 10W speaker. Using TI’s BrilliantColor technology, the projector displays 10-bit colour.
Resolution is 1920 x 1080, with a 20,000:1 contrast ratio and 1.48-1.62:1 throw ratio. Image size can be between 42″ and 300″, from 1.5m – 10m away. The DH1008 uses a 190W lamp, lasting between 5,000 and 6,500 hours and output 2,800 lumens of brightness.
A 1.1x manual optical zoom is built in, alongside 116% (+/-5%) offset and +/-40 deg vertical keystone correction.
