Nokia 3310 to Return?

VentureBeat has reported that HDM Global Oy, the licensee of the Nokia brand for smartphones, will launch a number of new mobile phones using the brand at MWC. The Nokia 6 has already been released in China (Nokia 6 Pre-Sales in China Top 100,000) and it will be joined by a Nokia 5 and 3 which will have lower features. The 5 is said to have a 5.2″ 1280 x 720 display, 2GB of RAM and a 12MP camera.

However, the company also plans a Nokia 3310 replacement – a simple feature phone that developed a reputation for ‘indestructible’ build quality and a very long battery life. The price is said to have been set at €59.

My wife would be tempted by a 3310 replacement, if she hadn’t recently got a new phone! She likes a new phone every seven or eight years…. (BR)
