Safespaces is a new way of getting a Linux desktop in a VR environment. The environment is still in development, but runs on top of the Arcan display server. You can check out the project on Github, although there is a health warning ” Keep a vomit-bucket nearby”. It can be used with VR headsets that are compatible with OpenHMD.
