Data Modul is planning to show a new 18.5″ FullHD open frame monitor prototype at the forthcoming Embedded World event. It is based on a Sharp panel but has an optically bonded PCap touch panel, added by the German company. Brightness is 400 cd/m² and the monitor is designed to run from 12V power. It is 468 x 287 x 34.1mm which makes it slim for an open-framed monitor. The glass surface is described as robust enough to survive the sometimes harsh cleaning in industrial and medical environments.
