Atlético de Madrid’s new 88,000m² home stadium is host to a range of LG digital signage products.
The arena’s two main scoreboards measure 15.2m x 5.6m each and are comprised of one hundred 12mm pixel pitch LED tiles, while a third 10m x 5.6m scoreboard is made up of sixty-five 16mm pixel pitch LED tiles.
A fourth scoreboard measuring 8.1m x 4.6m will be installed in the fan zone within the next several months. The scoreboards are capable of emitting 6,000cd/m² of brightness for improved clarity under bright sunlight. All are controlled using LG’s own colour representation and processing technologies.
The firm has also installed a 16mm pixel pitch LED ribbon between the stadium’s third and fourth tiers, providing advertising space and features designed to enhance the fan experience, such as the display of player stats.
