NEC had a small booth that was highlighting projection and also LCD displays. The PX1005QL was announced at ISE and combines a single chip DLP engine with sealed optics and a laser phosphor light source. It can use lenses from Panasonic (which can be helpful to rental companies which want to get the most from their inventory). It was being shown with a UST lens.

Also with a UST lens, but in this case a new one that does not yet have a model number, was the PA803UL, an existing product which has a 3LCD imaging system, but one that is unique in that it has a sealed optical system allowing filterless operation.
There was the new P series 75″ UltraHD display, the X555-UNS video wall display and the LED poster displays that were shown at ISE. (NEC and S[quadrat] Joined for ISE). The LED posters are not yet shipping. Also on display was the PH3501 RB Laser projector – a technology that we wrote about recently. (NEC LP Projector Solves a Colour Challenge)
