Euskatel has selected Nagra Connect which will be integrated with the Open TV Platform used in the backend for an STB roll out of UltraHD STBs in Spain. The STB’s will be supplied by Technicolor and will be based on Android TV and this deal is the first Android TV operator deployment for Nagra. Features that can be supported include VOD, catch-up and start-over TV, cloud DVR and multiscreen TV with Connect offering a converged CAS/DRM solution.
