A couple of weeks ago we reported on moves by Displax to pick up business from Finnish high end multi-user touch system vendor Multitaction as that firm struggled financially. Now the US part of the company has bought the brand, products, assets and IP from the Finnish firm and it will be led by the US team.
What We Think
That’s a slightly surprising turn of events. However, the firm has a clear niche that may be still tenable without the original organisation, and, presumably its debts, although it’s not clear to me from the announcement how support and development will continue. (BR)
