Sigmaintell released its data on the latest pricing for mobile and tablet LCDs and expects to seeing continuing price declines. For all technologies, demand is weak, orders are being reduced and oversupply goes on.
The oversupply of OLED is pushing the price of that technology and that is having a knock-on effect in the LCD market.
Tablet panel channel inventory is still high, and demand has not recovered.

No real surprise here, but it’s hard to imaging that you can buy what would have been an HD LCD cell a few years ago at just over $3! (BR)
