MMD Completes Ultraclear Series

MMD has developed a new UltraHD Philips monitor, which completes the company’s Ultraclear line-up with a smaller model. The 241P6VPJKEB is a 23.8″ unit, displaying 10-bit colour (8 bits + FRC) and covering 99% of the sRGB gamut.

Multiview is built into the monitor, so two sources of video content can be viewed at the same time, such as feeds from both a TV and a PC. MMD has also designed the display to appeal to enterprise users: it is flicker-free, with presence and ambient light sensors and a Delta E of <3. In addition, the monitor can tilt (-5° to 20°), swivel (175°), pivot (90°) and is height-adjustable (130mm).

Thanks to the IPS panel, the 241P6VPJKEB has 178° viewing angles, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio and 14ms response time. Brightness is 300 cd/m². DisplayPort, MHL-HDMI, dual-link DVI, VGA and USB 3.0 (x3) ports are featured.

MMD is selling the monitor now, for £295 ($445) ex VAT.
