Microsoft’s minimum specifications for the Windows Holographic platform have been spotted by “The Verge”, which noted a dialogue when it did some testing. The dialogue indicated that memory should be 4.0GB, USB 3.0 is installed, a graphics card with support for DirectX 12 and a quad core CPU.
This video from Microsoft was said to have been based on an Intel NUC with integrated graphics and the company said that it had designed the platform to run on mainstream PCs.

One of the barriers to adoption of dedicated headsets is the high level of PC needed to drive them. (BR)
