At Auto Shanghai 2023, Chinese automotive technology supplier, Marelli, has unveiled several new technologies such as the fourth generation of the MInD-Xp integrated cockpit domain control unit, which consolidates traditionally separated ECUs (electronic control units) into a unique controller to address the in-cabin technology experience evolution. Marelli’s new Diorama display is another technology featured in the showcase. It drives three HD displays with local dimming, providing a safe and comfortable ride with sharp visualizations on the windshield. The latest generation also includes the advanced OxOB holographic avatar, combining the principle of 3D stereoscopy and the Diorama setup.

Other technologies include Android OS for infotainment, virtual personal assistant, phone mirroring including Apple CarPlay, media streaming, a real-time telematic control unit connection, 3D surround view, a V2X scenario with an integrated ground projected alert, a large display, and haptic feedback.
