LGfL and Avantis have announced a strategic partnership to accelerate VR/AR learning across nearly 3,000 schools in the UK.

The companies say that the initiative will save an estimated £500,000 (about $660,855) and provide free access to Avantis’ ClassVR portal, which contains hundreds of VR/AR resources, CPD opportunities and access to discounted equipment.
Launched alongside the partnership is a VR Champions Programme which will provide 50 schools with the opportunity to embed VR/AR within their classroom. “Champions” will be VR centres of excellence, promote best practise of VR/AR usage in the classroom and support other schools who are benefiting from such technology.
