LG has announced that the latest firmware update for its 2016 OLED TVs, currently rolling out across the US and Europe, includes a fix for the ongoing problem of “raised blacks” during the playback of Dolby Vision content via HDMI. (LG Fixes Dolby Vision Raised Blacks on 2017 OLED TVs)
A similar fix for 2018 models is planned for release later this month.
