LG will soon move its TV production in Thailand to Vietnam, for logistical ease and efficiency, an executive has told Reuters. Nipon Wongsaengarunsri, marketing director of LG Electronics (Thailand), said that Vietnam was considered the “most worthwhile” country to invest in. LG produces about 600,000 TV sets annually in Thailand, of which 100,000 are exported. The move will take place between late April and early May.
