Turning to large panels, the first we looked at was a 77″ UltraHD OLED that is just 0.97mm thick, but had a peak brightness of 800 cd/m² and 120Hz refresh. The brightness means that a TV built with the panel could meet the HDR requirements for the UltraHD Alliance Premium label. Brightness was quoted as different at different APLs at 800 with 10% APL, 500 at 25% and 150 cd/m² at 100%. Colour gamut was quoted at 130% of sRGB and 99% of DCI P3. Bezels are 10.7/14.7/9.2/9.2 (U/D/L/R).
Intriguing, previously shown at IFA and well videoed in the video referenced at the end of this article, was a 55″ FullHD two-sided OLED. Refresh is 120Hz, luminance 400 cd/m² at 25% (100 cd/m² at 100%). The panel has wide colour gamut at 114% of sRGB and 88% of DCI P3. The depth was an impressive 4.9mm and we can imagine some retailers really wanting to use this panel in store.
