Iiyama has updated its TFxx37 series to the TFxx38 series which includes 32″ and 43″ FullHD, 49″, 55″ and 65″ with UltraHD. All have PCap touch with 12 points, although the 65″ supports 50 points. The units are fitted with strong protection glass (3mm to 5mm) and are tested with the IEC 60950-1 Drop Ball Test and are rated to IP54 (front). Brightness is 500 c/m² from the panel, 420 cd/m² after the touch panel and contrast is 1,100:1. Interfaces include DVI, VGA, dual HDMI and DisplayPort V1.2. There are dual 8W speakers.
The monitors are rated for 24/7 operation.
Pricing is €1,349, €1,699, €2,649, €2,999 (black)/€3,079 (white) and €4,679, respectively. They are all available now, except the 65″, which will be here in August.

Iiyama describes these as ‘open frame’ but they are cased monitors as far as we are concerned!
Philips (TPVision) has released its 2018 TVs across Europe. Most of the sets will run the Android 7 TV platform initially, but will convert to Android 8 via an update later (although some low end sets will run an alternative OS called Saphi.
