Wee have received the prices for AOC‘s 75 Series of desktop monitors (AOC Has a Monitor for Everyone). The monitors will cost £335 ($430) (Q2775PQU); £210 ($270) (I2775PQU); £180 ($230) (E2775SJ); £155 ($200) (I2475PXQU); £135 ($170) (E2475PWJ); £130 ($165) (E2475SWJ); £120 ($155) (E2275PWQU); £105 ($135) (E2275PWJ); £90 ($115) (E2275SWJ); and £70 ($90) (E975SWDA).
LG has revealed pricing for its Super UHD LCD TVs, which were introduced at CES this year (LG’s Signature is Pure and Gimmick-Free). The sets will cost $1,800, $2,100 and $2,800 (55″, 60″ and 65″ UH7700); $2,000, $2,300, $3,000 and $5,000 (55″, 60″, 65″ and 75″ UH8500); and $4,000 and $10,000 (65″ and 85″ UH9500). The UH9800 range was missing from the pricing.
In related news, LG’s G6 OLED TV has appeared online, for $8,000 (as previously rumoured: LDM Product Roundup – Vol 23 No 03). It should be shipped this month.
We have received price information for all of LG‘s 34″ 21:9 monitors. All are set to be released in June, aside from the 34UM88C-P (April). They will cost €250 (UM58); €285 (UM68); €670 (UM88C-P); €730 (UM88-P); €810 (UC88-B); and €910 (UC98-W).
MMD has launched the 276E6ADSS Philips quantum dot monitor, which was presented at IFA (Philips’ High-Concept Ambilight Becomes Reality). The only difference between the 276E6ADSW (IFA) and 276E6ADSS (final production model) is that the IFA monitor had a gold stand; the on-sale unit has a silver stand. The monitor costs £190 ($240).
UK retail chain Richer Sounds is offering discounts on several UltraHD TVs over the Easter period. The 40″ UF695V from LG is down to £350 ($500) (from £500 ($720)); Samsung’s 40″ UE40JU6500 is £500 (from £700 ($1,000)); and Panasonic’s 55″ TX55CX680B is £700 (from £900 ($1,300)).
The first 2016 Roku UltraHD TVs have begun to go on sale at Best Buy in the USA and Canada, from Insignia. They are available in 43″, 50″ and 55″ sizes. They cost $400, $500 and $650, respectively.
