Smart Technologies‘ 84″ Smart Kapp 84 capture board (Smart Takes a Lesson From Boogie Board) is now available in Europe. It is being distributed by TD Maverick, Tech Data and Ingram Micro. (for more on the Smart Kapp iQ display, see our Infocomm report – Smart Adds iQ Displays to Kapp.
The extremely thin X900C and X910C LCD TVs from Sony, introduced at CES 2015 (Sony’s TV is Slimmer Than a Smartphone), now have official prices. The 55″ and 65″ X900C will be launched in July, for $2,500 and $4,000, respectively. The 75″ X910C will follow later in the summer, for $5,500. These prices are identical to those leaked by HD Guru earlier this year (Sony TV Prices Shared).
The VPL-GTZ270 and VPL-GTZ280 Sony laser projectors, seen at Infocom (Sony to Control Colour at Infocomm), will be launched January and March 2016, respectively.
