Chinese manufacturer KTC has announced plans to integrate Seraphic’s TV browser into their range of Linux-driven smart TVs in Europe.
The browser will enable users to access a range of global TV apps such as Freeview Play, HbbTV, YouTube TV, TV Portal and Open Browser.
Ye Wang, CEO of Seraphic, said:
“The browser solution we provide for KTC’s new products is based on mainstream chipset vendor MStar’s 6585 chipset platform.
With deployment of Sraf Browser, KTC is now able to satisfy today’s consumers’ expectation for easy and effortless access to OTT content within their homes. Meanwhile, it has broadened KTC’s product lines”.
