JVC Launches 9200 Series of OLED Android TV Devices for Europe

JVC has announced today the launch of its stylish 9200 series of OLED 4K HDR Android TV devices. The 55-inch and 65-inch TVs, with leading-edge OLED picture quality, and Dolby Atmos support, deliver a next-level home cinema experience, straight out of the box. Immersing viewers in the action from any seat in the room, they perfectly capture high-speed scenes and gameplay with 100/120Hz refresh rates, while also ensuring seamless, distraction-free viewing, thanks to their frameless bezel designs.

Whether for movies, games or sports, the 9200 series, with its OLED (Organic LED) panel technology, brings exceptional contrast, deep blacks and eye-popping colour vibrance to the screen for a truly life-like picture performance.

With per-pixel control, and advanced decontouring, the TVs capture every on-screen colour, every shade and hue, immersing viewers in the detail of light as well as shadow scenes.

Support for Dolby Vision® further strengthens the picture performance, enabling viewers to catch more of the story with punchy and textured on-screen imagery. Dolby Vision makes entertainment come alive with ultravivid colors you’ve never seen on a screen and incredible brightness and contrast you can’t get with a standard picture.

All-encompassing viewing angles with swivel stand

With their premium swivel-base stand design, they allow for even greater viewing angles and flexibility, delivering a picture-perfect viewing experience from any seat in the room.

Multi-dimensional audio

The TVs’ support for Dolby Atmos® adds to the overall sense of immersion, enabling viewers to enjoy a realistic sound experience that goes beyond traditional left and right audio channels. With Dolby Atmos, sound is precisely placed all around the viewer.

For further surround sound support, both the TVs’ eARC HDMI port, allows them to be hooked up to a sound system, which can then be easily controlled using the TV remote.

Advanced motion handling and gaming support

At the same time, to keep up with even the fastest footwork on the football pitch, the TVs offer 100/120Hz refresh rates.

Giving gamers an extra competitive advantage, the TVs also offer support for console as well as PC gaming. Activated whenever a game is detected from a games console, their Auto Low Latency mode (ALLM), as specified by the HDMI 2.1 standard, automatically switches to the TVs’ lowest latency setting.

Picture technologies

While the TVs can flawlessly deliver ultra-crisp, vibrant and detailed 4K HDR content, they also work to optimise the picture quality of everyday sub-4K and SDR video. With SuperResolution, they refine and upscale the on-screen image, and enhance the dynamic contrast ratio with Micro Dimming. The picture quality of fast-moving action scenes can be further improved, thanks to Motion Estimation/Motion Compensation (ME/MC), which smooths out and defines the on-screen imagery.

TV design complements and blends in with any wall

With a flat back and frameless bezel design, the TVs can be fitted flush on the wall, seamlessly blending in, as if painted on, so that the content jumps out from the screen, free from any distracting angles and frames.

Go-to home entertainment hub

And with the 9200 series, the content is definitely worth taking centre stage. Offering a go-to home entertainment hub, both TVs deliver an unmatched library of streaming services, which includes everything from Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Red Bull TV to Twitch and Amazon Music*.
