ViewSonic Launches Two Laser-Based Projectors for Versatile and Creative Installations at InfoComm

ViewSonic Corp., a leading global provider of visual solutions, expands its line of laser-based projectors with the addition of two installation-focused projectors, the LS920WU and the short-throw LS921WU. Both projectors are engineered with next-generation laser phosphor technology and a lifespan of up to 30,000* hours.

With 6,000 ANSI lumens of brightness and a built-in HDBT receiver for single cable connectivity, the LS920WU and LS921WU offer installation-friendly features that make them ideal for large venue settings such as lecture halls, large conference rooms, houses of worship and creative environments.

The ViewSonic LS920WU is a native WUXGA (1920×1200) projector that features wide 1.6x optical zoom adjustment, vertical/horizontal keystone, vertical/horizontal lens shift and four-corner adjustment that provides extreme flexibility in challenging installations. The integrated HDBT receiver ensures that the projector is capable of receiving uncompressed HD video and audio from more than 200 feet away via a single network cable. With SuperColor™ technology, the projector displays content with crisp, vivid color.

The ViewSonic LS921WU is a short-throw projector with native WUXGA (1920×1200) resolution. With 6,000 lumens of brightness, the LS921WU features a 1.1x adjustable optical zoom lens and wide lens shift to manage larger screens over shorter distances. Along with a built-in HDBT receiver, the LS921WU comes with dual HDMI 2.0/HDCP 2.2 ports to display 4K content, along with HDR/HLG support at a 60Hz frame rate.

“The ViewSonic LS920WU and LS921WU are the next generation of lamp-free installation projectors,” said Mia Shen, Sr. Business Line Manager of Projectors at ViewSonic. “Using the latest laser phosphor technology, we can deliver higher brightness levels so these projectors can be used in various ambient light settings in larger venues and let creativity take over when it comes to installation projects.”
