The Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray and DVD releases of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle will deliver an augmented reality experience to fans via Snapchat. Customers can scan the Snapcode—found either on the disc case or on in-store point-of-sale material—to be transported to a 360° jungle where they will see many of the animals from the film, with the odd jump-scare thrown in for good measure.
A message from Dwayne Johnson’s character, Dr Smolder Bravestone, informs customers that an additional augmented reality experience starring the characters from the film can be encountered by scanning a second Snapcode found inside the disc’s packaging.
